Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the UP M.Sc Nursing entrance, you must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: You must have passed B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc (Hons) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
• Minimum Marks: At least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
• Registration: You must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) with any State Nursing Registration Council.
• Work Experience: * Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.
  • Minimum one year of experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
• Domicile: While private colleges are open to all, only UP Domicile candidates are eligible for seats in Government Nursing Colleges.
