📥 How to Download TG ECET 2026 Rank Card

To access your scorecard and rank, you must visit the official portal and log in with your exam credentials.

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to ecet.tgche.ac.in.
2. Locate Result Link: Click on the tab labeled “Download Rank Card”.
3. Enter Login Credentials: Provide your:
   • Registration Number
   • TG ECET Hall Ticket Number
   • Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
4. View Results: Your marks in each section and your integrated rank will be displayed.
5. Print: Save the PDF. Note: The rank card is mandatory for certificate verification during counselling.

📊 Qualifying Marks for TG ECET 2026

To be eligible for a rank in the entrance test, candidates must meet the minimum qualifying percentage as prescribed by the TGCHE.

• General/OBC Candidates: Must secure at least 25% aggregate marks (i.e., 50 out of 200 marks) across all four subjects.
• SC/ST Candidates: There are no minimum qualifying marks for ranking; however, admission is subject to seat availability and category-specific merit.

⚖️ Tie-Breaking Rules

In cases where multiple candidates obtain the same aggregate marks, the following tie-breaking criteria are applied to determine the rank:

For Engineering Stream:

1. Higher Marks in Engineering Paper: Candidates with better core subject scores get preference.
2. Higher Marks in Mathematics: If still tied, marks in the Mathematics section are compared.
3. Higher Marks in Physics: The third level of comparison is Physics marks.
4. Age Preference: If all marks are identical, the older candidate (based on Date of Birth) is ranked higher.

For B.Sc. (Mathematics) Stream:

1. Mathematics Score: Priority to the candidate with higher marks in the Mathematics section.
2. Qualifying Exam Percentage: Percentage of marks in the B.Sc. degree.
3. Age: Older candidates are given preference.

🏥 What After the Results?

Once the results are declared, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) will initiate the web-based counselling process.

• Merit List: Separate merit lists are prepared for each branch (Civil, EEE, ME, ECE, CSE, etc.).
• Integrated Rank: A common integrated rank is provided for all engineering branches for admission into specific courses where branch-switching is permitted.
• Counselling Website: For seat allotment and college preferences, candidates must visit tsecet.nic.in once the schedule is released.
