Eligibility Criteria for TG ECET 2026

Before filling out the TG ECET 2026 application form, verify that you meet the following requirements:

• Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen.
• Domicile: Must satisfy the Local/Non-Local status as per the Telangana State education rules.
• Educational Qualification: * Diploma Holders: Must have a Diploma in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana or equivalent.
  • B.Sc. Graduates: Must have a 3-year B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• Minimum Marks: At least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/Reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
• Appearing Candidates: Students in their final year of Diploma or B.Sc. are eligible to apply.

Registration Fee Structure

The fee must be paid online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.

• SC/ST and Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates: ₹500
• General and OBC (Other) Candidates: ₹900

Late Fee Schedule:

If you miss the April 18 deadline, you can still apply with the following additional charges:

• Till April 24: ₹500 late fee
• Till April 29: ₹1,000 late fee
• Till May 4: ₹2,500 late fee
• Till May 8: ₹5,000 late fee
• Till May 12: ₹10,000 late fee

The registration process is entirely digital and can be completed on the official website: ecet.tgche.ac.in.

1. Step 1: Fee Payment: Visit the portal and click on “Application Fee Payment.” You will need your Diploma/B.Sc. Hall Ticket Number and basic details.
2. Step 2: Know Your Payment Status: After payment, use the “Know Your Payment Status” link to ensure the transaction was successful.
3. Step 3: Fill Application Form: Enter your personal details, academic history, category, and preferred exam center.
4. Step 4: Upload Documents: Upload your scanned Passport Size Photograph (under 50KB) and Signature (under 30KB) in JPG/JPEG format.
5. Step 5: Print Application: After submission, download and print the “Filled-in Online Application Form” for future reference during counseling.
