Eligibility Criteria

  • The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Educational Qualifications

SSET (B.Ed)

  • A pass in Shastri/BA (Sanskrit) or equivalent in 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 50% marks (or)
  • A pass in two year Shastri/BA (Sanskrit)/equivalent with 50% marks and a pass in one year Bridge course/ Setu or one year of Acharya/MA (Sanskrit)/equivalent (Or)
  • Those who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply
  • Minimum age is 20 years as on 01st October 2022

SAET (M.Ed)

  • A pass in Acharya/MA (Sanskrit)/equivalent with Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed (with Sanskrit Methodology) along with minimum 55% aggregate marks in both (at least 50% marks in both theory and Practical required separately in Shiksha Shastri/B.Ed)
  • Those who are appearing for qualifying examination can also apply
  • Minimum age is 23 years as on 01st October 2022
  • Relaxation of 5% marks to SC/ST/Otherwise able candidates. Reservation policy of Govt. of India will be followed

VVET (PhD)

  • At least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Acharya / MA (Sanskrit). (B) At least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Acharya / MA (Sanskrit) and at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in Shiksha Acharya/ M.Ed. (For Ph.D. in Education).
  • Those who are appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply.
  • Entrance test is compulsory for those candidates who have cleared UGC NET/ SLET in Education/Sanskrit/Sanskrit Traditional, M.Phil/ Vishishtacharya in Education/ Sanskrit. Only those candidates who have cleared JRF are exempted from appearing in VVET, but they must fill an online application with required Fee.
  • Note: Relaxation of 5% marks to SC/ST/OBC/other disabled candidates. The Economically Weaker Section (EWS) reservation policy of Govt. of India will be followed.

Application Process

  • The applicants appearing for SSET-2022/SAET-2022/ VVET-2022 can fill prescribed online application from website www.slbsrsv.ac.in
  • Fill the online application very carefully.
  • The facts mentioned in the online application will be duly verified at the time of examination and admission.
  • On verification of any type of false information legal action as per rules will be taken. It also includes disqualification from examination or cancellation of admission.
  • Upload your clear and latest passport-size photo with the date on the online application form. The Photo clicked before 3 months will not be accepted. If the photo does not match properly at the time of examination/admission then it may result in disqualification from the examination/ cancellation of admission or any other legal action deemed fit.
  • The online applications filled after the last date will not be accepted.
  • Only eligible candidates can appear in the written test. Non-eligible candidates appearing for SSET-2022/ SAET-2022/ VVET-2022 will themselves be responsible for the consequences

Application Fee

  • Application fee for SSET/SAET/ VVET is Rs.1500/- and after due date the fee will be Rs. 2500/- only (including late fee of Rs. 1000/-)
  • In case of non availability of online facility, the application form can also be downloaded and submitted along with relevant documents and Demand Draft should be in favour of “Registrar, S.L.B.S.N.S. University” drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at New Delhi by Registered Post/ Speed Post

Selection Procedure

  • Admission to Shiksha Shastri/ Shiksha Acharya/Vidya Varidhi Course will be through a written Entrance Test called SSET/SAET/VVET. All candidates seeking admission to the concerned course must apply online through University/University website
  • All eligible candidates will be required to appear for the written test. Admit cards for appearing in the SSET/SAET/VVET will be downloaded from the University/University website

Exam Pattern

For B.Ed 

  • Duration: The test is of 2 hour duration
  • Type of Questions: There are multiple-choice questions in the test
  • Language of questions: All questions will be in English language
  • Total Marks: The maximum marks of the test is 200
  • Marking Scheme: Each question is of 02 marks

Sections

  • Proficiency in Sanskrit Language – 25 Ques./50 marks
  • General Knowledge & Mental Ability – 25 Ques./50 marks
  • Teaching Aptitude – 25 Ques./50 marks
  • Sanskrit Literature – 25 Ques./50 marks
  • For each question four choices of the answer shall be provided. Out of these only one will be the correct answer. Fill the correct answer in OMR sheet with this mark

For M.Ed

  • Shiksha Acharya Entrance Test (SAET) will consist of question papers in One Part only.
  • Time 10.00 A.M. to 12.00 Noon Total Marks-200
  • SAET will consist of 100 Multiple choice questions. This part will have following four sections:

(i) Proficiency in Sanskrit Language – 25 Ques./50 marks

(ii) General Knowledge & Mental Ability – 25 Ques./50 marks

(iii) Teaching Aptitude – 25 Ques./50 marks

(iv) Sanskrit Literature – 25 Ques./50 marks

  • For each question four choices of the answer shall be provided. Out of these only one will be the correct answer. Fill the correct answer in OMR sheet with this mark

For PhD (Education)

  • General knowledge (Introductory in Sanskrit Vangmay – 20 Ques./40 marks
  • Teaching of Shastra – Darshan, Vyakaran and Sahitya – 20 Ques./40 marks
  • Functional Sanskrit Grammar (Sandhi, Compounds, Case- endings, voices, Subanta, Tinganta, Kridanta, Taddhita etc.) – 20 Ques./40 marks
  • Educational Philosophy Educational Psychology History and Problems of Indian Education – 20 Ques./40 marks
  • Educational Research Methodology – 20 Ques./40 marks

Exam Centre

  • The allotment of the centre for examination shall be done as per information given by the student. Once the centre for examination is allotted, it will not be changed. The candidate has to appear at the allotted centre only.
