💳 Application Fee Structure (Per Attempt)

The fees for 2026 have been revised. Candidates can choose to apply for one or both attempts during this registration window.

Note: A late fee of ₹500 applies if registering between Feb 25–27.

🆔 Mandatory Requirements: APAAR & Aadhaar Update

A significant update for 2026 was the inclusion of APAAR ID and Aadhaar Authentication.

• Aadhaar/APAAR Requirement: While initially mandatory, the CET Cell released a notice on February 12 stating that Aadhaar/APAAR authentication is not strictly mandatory to complete the registration if technical issues persist, but it is highly recommended for future CAP (counselling) rounds.
• DigiLocker: It is still the preferred method to link your academic records via the APAAR ID generated through DigiLocker.

📝 Step-by-Step Registration Guide

1. New Registration: Visit cetcell.mahacet.org and click on the “MHT CET 2026” link to create a user profile.
2. Verify Identity: Use your Aadhaar/APAAR ID (via DigiLocker) or proceed with manual entry if the authentication fails.
3. Fill Application Details: Enter your personal information, domicile status, and academic scores (Class 10 and 12).
4. Upload Documents: * Photo: 100 KB to 5 MB (JPG/JPEG). Ensure it’s a recent color photo with a light background.
   • Signature: 10 KB to 2 MB (JPG/JPEG). Use a black/blue pen on white paper.
5. Select Attempt & Center: Choose whether you want to appear for Attempt 1, Attempt 2, or Both. Select three preferred exam cities.
6. Payment & Print: Pay the fee online and download the Confirmation Page.
