Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Form – Last Date

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for different courses are as follows:

MBA

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institute/university. 

MCA

  • Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Applications/Computer Programming/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects or electives at the degree level. 

MTech

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from a recognized university. 

MArch

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university. 

Age Limit:

There is no age limit to apply for Karnataka PGCET. 

Application Process

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 application form can be filled online on the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) at kea.kar.nic.in. The application process involves the following steps:

Registration

  • Candidates need to register on the KEA website by providing details like citizenship, name, parent’s name, gender, date of birth, email, password, course/subject, and mobile number.
  • After registration, candidates will receive a unique application number.

Filling Application Form

  • Candidates have to log in using their credentials and fill out the application form, which includes sections for personal information, academic details, test center selection, and GATE score (if applicable).
  • Candidates also need to upload documents like photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions as per the specified requirements.

Payment of Application Fee

  • The application fee is ₹650 for general/OBC category and ₹500 for SC/ST/Category-I candidates.
  • The fee can be paid online using debit/credit card or net banking, or offline by submitting cash at any branch of the State Bank of Mysore.

Payment of Application Fee

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee can be paid in the following two modes:

Offline Mode

  • Candidates can pay the application fee in cash at any branch of the State Bank of Mysore.
  • After making the payment, candidates will receive two copies of the challan – one for their records and one for the bank.
  • The last date to pay the application fee through offline mode is listed in the table above.

Online Mode

  • The online payment option is not available for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee.
  • All candidates have to mandatorily pay the fee through the offline bank challan mode only.

Application Fee Amounts

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee varies based on the candidate’s category:

  • General/OBC Category: ₹650
  • SC/ST/Category-I: ₹500

The application fee is non-refundable, so candidates are advised to pay the correct amount as per their category.

Consequences of Missing the Fee Payment Deadline

If the application fee is not paid by the deadline, the following consequences may occur:

  • The candidate’s registration will be cancelled and they will not be eligible to appear for the PGCET 2024 exam.
  • The candidate will not be able to download the admit card, which is mandatory to appear for the exam.
  • The candidate will not be eligible for the counseling process, which is crucial for admission to MTech/ME, MCA, and MBA courses.
  • The application fee will not be refunded, even if the candidate decides not to participate in the exam.

So candidates need to pay the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee by the given deadline to avoid any issues.

The following documents are required to be uploaded during the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application process:

  • 10th class mark sheet
  • 12th class mark sheet
  • Valid ID proof
  • Active mobile number and email ID
  • Scanned copy of the candidate’s passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned copy of the candidate’s parent’s signature
  • Candidate’s left thumb impression
  • Income certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate or any other required certificate (if applicable)

The documents should be clear, recent, and in the specified format and size. Failure to comply with the requirements may lead to the rejection of the application.
