Notifications

Eligibility Criteria:

  • For MBA: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
  • For MCA: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, Business Mathematics, or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
  • For M.Tech/M.E/M.Arch: Candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern

Likewise, the Karnataka PGCET exam structure is also published by KEA. Important features of the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test are as follows. However check official website kea.kar.nic.in from time to time for any changes in the exam pattern.

The exam pattern is as follows

  • Mode of Exam – The exam  is a Offline test.
  • Question type – The questions are Multiple Choice.
  • Number of Questions – There are 100 for MBA, 80 for MCA, 75 for ME / M.Tech M.Arch questions in the entrance exam.
  • Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 100.

Marking Scheme – 

  • Candidates get +1 or +2 depending on paper and section marks for correct answer.
  • And negative marks is 0 for incorrect answers
