COMEDK UGET
About COMEDK
COMEDK is the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” – an autonomous institution consisting of senior academicians and reputed administrative officers who have been associated with the educational eco system. This autonomous COMEDK was entrusted the responsibility to organize testing procedures to determine the merit of aspiring students in an effective, fair, transparent and non-exploitative procedure by KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation – Medical & Dental) and KUPECA (Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association). By this, COMEDK has been serving 16 Medical, 24 Dental and around 150 Engineering Colleges. COMEDK since its inception in 2004-05 has been conducting the annual entrance exam for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the participating institutions and has also been organizing single window centralized counseling process over the last 15 years. In all these years, the efforts of COMEDK have been appreciated by all the Government appointed Admission Overseeing Committees and also been mentioned by the Hon’ble Supreme Court as the model examination.

The entrance test is being conducted for merit determination for use by COMEDK Member Institutions only and other institutions who have been expressly permitted in this behalf. COMEDK UGET test scores are valid only for admissions during the academic year.

COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates from all over the country can appear for the UGET-2022 entrance exam.
- Nationality: Candidate applying must be a citizen of India
For UG Engineering Courses
- The qualifying examinations for admission for B.E. should be the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the State / Central Government.
- 10+2 subjects should be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
- A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Relaxation of marks – 40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State
- Candidates should have passed each subject individually.
- Diploma holders are not eligible for COMEDK. No lateral entry is allowed in any course.
- Appearing for the COMEDK Entrance Test will also be considered an attempt for figuring in the rank list.
- Note: Candidates are required to submit the original marks sheets of the examination during the time of counseling for proving their eligibility.
For UG Architecture Courses
- Qualifying exam for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2
- 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also, 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.
- Candidates should have qualified a recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2022.
- No Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Arch courses need to submit a separate application form for counseling as per the notification on COMEDK website.
- No need to fill the online application form for the engineering entrance exam.
COMEDK UGET Application Form
- To apply for engineering programs, candidates have to register in the below-mentioned manner. We are providing the steps to fill COMEDK UGET Application Form:
Step 1 Registration
- Visit the official website of COMEDK i.e. comedk.org. Click on the link and get registered yourself on the website. Fill all the details required in the registration/application form along with the valid mobile number and email ID. After successful registration, you will receive a unique email ID and password on your registered mobile number and email ID.
Step 2 Fill Online Application Form
- Log in with the system generated user ID and password to complete the application process.
- Fill all the details in the application form such as personal, academic qualification, test centers, and some other necessary details.
Step 3 Uploading the documents
- Upload the recent color photograph (30mm x 45mm) in JPEG format with not more than 80kb. The size of the uploaded signature should be (35mm x 80m) with the maximum file size of 80kb. Candidates also have to upload the signature of father/guardian and unique Id proof in 80kb and 150 kb formats, respectively.
Step 4 Online Fee Payment
- Proceed to make payment by clicking on the payment gateway mode. You can re-login and check your status for the payment. Before clicking on the submit button, preview your COMEDK UGET 2022 Application Form by clicking on the “Preview” button and re-verify your application form.

a) The test cities are allotted to candidates on first come first serve basis. However, COMEDK reserves the right to allot any other test city other than the city chosen by the candidate
b) A candidate can choose and select 3 cities in order of preference at the time of applying for the exam from the available list of Test Cities in Online Application form
c) The option to choose the test city will be available before submitting the application form online, subject to availability. Please note that the preference indicated by the candidate will be considered only after receipt of successful online Payment by COMEDK
d) The option of city chosen by the candidate cannot be changed subsequently under any circumstance.
e) In case of non-availability of centers in a city of your choice at the time of completing your application, you may choose SELECT an alternative city from the available list in the Online Application form
f) If for any reason, a test city hasto be cancelled or is non-available; applicants who had opted for the cancelled/non-available test city will be allotted a center at another city by COMEDK
g) COMEDK reserves the right to allot any other Exam City other than the preference indicated by the applicant
h) Any changes to the stated policy and decision will be communicated on our website
i) Each city can have one or more centers. The allocation of centers is done through a computer assisted randomization / optimization process
j) The allocated center and session/slot will be communicated on the online Test Admission Ticket (online TAT)

The Entrance Test is based on the CBSE syllabus as given below:
11th STD – 2021-22 Syllabus (33% Questions allocation)
12th STD – 2022-23 Syllabus (67% Questions allocation)

- Following is the exam pattern for COMEDK-UGET 2023 :
- Mode of Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT),i.e. Online
- Medium of Exam: English only
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Type
- Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answers
- Total Marks: 180 marks
- Total Duration: 3 hours
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, candidates get 1 mark. There is no negative marking

- Online Rank Card will be available under applicant login in the COMEDK website as per schedule. Candidates appearing for COMEDK.

Cutoff
Candidates have who score more than cut off Marks would feature in the merit list. Candidates names included in the merit list will be called for counselling rounds. Candidates can check previous years cut off marks to get an idea of Cut off for the current year as cut-off will be declared after the declaration of Result.

Answer Key
COMEDK declare the official answer key for COMEDK UGET exam. Candidates can check their answers by subject wise in the official website. If there any complaints in the marks the candidates send their doubts before the last date.
APPLICANTS SEEKING ANY CLARIFICATIONS WITH REGARD TO PROVISIONAL ANSWER KEYS:
a) Applicant to login using his/ her user ID and password and fill the query in the challenge form provided online, clearly indicating the grievance and with all necessary enclosures.
b) Clarification regarding provisional answer key should be submitted online in the format made available with a fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only+ convenience charges as applicable) per clarification, to be paid online only.
c) Only if the clarification sought is upheld, the money would be refunded in full after the COMEDK UGET 2023 process is completed.
d) Any request for clarification of provisional answer keys beyond the last date asstipulated in calendar of events will not be entertained
e) It is suggested that candidates download the PDF of Provision Answer Keys/Score for future reference. Clarifications will be given only if PDF format of the Provisional Answer Key is provided. Screen shots from Mobile or Computer will not be considered for clarifications
Results
Provisional Answer Keys, Final Answer Keys (post challenge verification) and Test Scores of the candidates will be made available under the applicant login on www.comedk.org as per the calendar of events. Clarifications, if any, should be sought within the dates stipulated. Subsequently, the final result would be made available which will be binding on all candidates and no further claim would be entertained thereafter. (Please refer to the Calendar of Events for details).

Counselling
The COMEDK UGET counselling process includes document verification, option entry, publishing of seat matrix, selection, seat allotment, fee payment and reporting to allotted college. Through counselling, the eligible candidates will be granted admission to various management courses at colleges and management Institutes of the Karnataka.
