📥 How to Download the Answer Key
Once the link is live, you can download the PDF for your specific subject (e.g., Life Sciences, Commerce, English) by following these steps:
- Visit the Official Portal: Go to cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/PGCET.
- Access the Key: Look for the link titled “Master Question Papers with Preliminary Keys”.
- Select Your Subject: A list of all 145+ courses will appear. Click on your respective subject name/code.
- Compare with Response Sheet: You should also download your “Response Sheet” (available via login) to see which options you marked during the exam and compare them against the official key.
🚩 Raising Objections & Fees
If you believe a question or an answer provided in the preliminary key is incorrect, you can challenge it through the official portal.
- Fee: There is typically a fee of ₹300 per objection. This fee is usually refundable if your objection is found to be valid by the subject expert committee.
- Proof: You must upload a scanned copy of valid supporting evidence (standard textbook references or solved derivations).
- Final Decision: The decision of the university committee is final. If corrections are made, a Final Answer Key will be released, and the results will be calculated based on it.
🧮 Calculating Your Score
The AP PGCET consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 100 marks.
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Incorrect Answer: 0 marks (There is no negative marking)
- Unattempted: 0 marks
Qualifying Marks:
- OC / BC Candidates: 35% (Minimum 35 out of 100)
- SC / ST Candidates: No minimum qualifying mark; a rank is assigned to all who appear.
