📥 How to Download Your Rank Card

Once the results are live on May 18, you can access your scorecard by following these steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET.
  2. Click the Result Link: Look for the tab labeled “View Results” or “Download Rank Card”.
  3. Enter Credentials: Use your Registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth.
  4. Check Details: Ensure your marks (Section-wise and Total), Rank, and Category are correctly mentioned.
  5. Print: Take at least 3–4 printouts. You will need the physical rank card during the certificate verification process in June/July.

📊 Qualifying Marks & Ranking

To be eligible for a rank and participate in web counselling, you must meet the following criteria:

  • General / BC Category: Minimum 35% (i.e., 42 marks out of 120).
  • SC / ST Category: There are no minimum qualifying marks; all candidates who appear for the exam will be assigned a rank.

Note on Ties: If two candidates get the same score, the rank is decided based on marks in the Aptitude for the Study of Law section first, followed by the Current Affairs section, and finally by age (older candidates get priority).


🎓 What Happens After Results?

After the result declaration, the admission process follows this sequence:

  1. Counselling Notification: Usually released in early June 2026.
  2. Registration & Certificate Verification: Candidates must register online and upload documents (Aadhaar, Degree/Inter marks, Rank Card, Caste Certificate).
  3. Web Options: You will choose your preferred law colleges in order of priority.
  4. Seat Allotment: Based on your rank and the colleges you selected.
