📥 How to Download the Answer Key
Once released, you can download the PDF for the 3-year or 5-year LLB course from the official website:
- Visit the Portal: Go to cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET.
- Locate the Link: Click on “Master Question Papers with Preliminary Keys”.
- Choose Your Course: Select either the 3-Year LLB or 5-Year LLB link.
- Download PDF: The question paper with the correct answers (usually highlighted or marked with a tick) will open in a new tab.
🚩 How to Raise Objections
If you find a discrepancy in the preliminary key, you can challenge it within the 48-hour window (May 7–9).
- Login: You will need your Registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, and Mobile Number.
- Submission: Objections must be submitted online through the “Objections on Preliminary Key” link.
- Evidence: You must provide valid proof (e.g., page number and title of a standard law textbook) to support your claim.
- Final Key: If the experts agree with your objection, a Final Answer Key will be released, and the results (Rank Card) will be processed based on the corrected key.
🧮 Calculating Your Estimated Score
The AP LAWCET has a straightforward marking scheme that makes self-evaluation easy:
- Total Questions: 120 (MCQ format)
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Negative Marking: None (0 marks for wrong answers)

Qualifying Marks:
- OC / BC Candidates: 35% (Minimum 42 marks out of 120).
