- Students should fill and submit the AP DEECET online application form before the last date.

The exam pattern was as follows
- Question type – The questions are Objective.
- Number of Questions – There are 100 questions in the entrance exam.
- Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 100.
- Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 2.5 hours.
- Language of Question Paper – Question paper shall be Bilingual method (i.e., English-Telugu, English-Urdu, English-Tamil, English-Kannada, English-Oria & English-Sanskrite)
Marking Scheme –
- Candidates get +1 marks for correct answer.

- Applicants Fee – Rs.750/-
- Mode of Payment – Through Online Payment Gateway
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed or appeared for the Intermediate (10+2) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks: Generally, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required (with relaxation to 45% for SC/ST/PH candidates).
- Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of September 1st of the admission year. There is no specified upper age limit.
- Residency: Candidates must meet the local/non-local status requirements as per the Andhra Pradesh State Education Institutions guidelines.
Admission Process
- The admissions into all Government DIETs and Category ‘A’ seats of the Private Unaided Elementary Teacher Training Institutions shall be made through a Single Window System in the order of merit on the basis of rank assigned in DEECET and to the extent of sanctioned seats through Web Based Admission service provided by the Convener DEECET.
