Diploma in BCG Technician Program

Students will learn about the importance of BCG (Bacillus Calmette-Guerin) vaccines to prevent tuberculosis and other infectious diseases in this course. At Era University, we meticulously train our BCG technicians to engage in the tuberculosis eradication program and educate people about the spread, prevention and drug regimen of TB. Students also learn to understand the role, maintenance and transportation (handling) of the vaccine, how to conduct investigations, chest x-ray and sputum examination. Our classrooms are ‘intellectually active’ places where students are taught in a progressive learning environment which is highly-effective and conducive to student-centered learning.

Career

The pass outs of this diploma program are eligible to work in both government & private hospitals to educate and train people about TB immunization programs and vaccination schedules.
