The department is geared to loof after all aspects of trauma, ploy trauma, joint replacement including revision surgery., spine surgery, paediatric orthopaedic, minimally invasive surgery(MIS), Arthroscopy surgery, sports medicine, Illizarov fixation for limb reconstruction, leg lengthening & Defromity correction.This field is governed by another 3-4 senior consultants who are available round the clock to attend all types of bony and musculo-skeletal trauma. The unit is backed up by fully equipped operative rooms for any procedure to be done swiftly. The Diploma Orthopaedics (DO), is a two year of diploma course in the field of medicine in India.The study provides the appropriate content for orthopedic trainees and advanced therapists. It is connected with the specialists dealing with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. The diploma study improves and develops the clear concept of the role and responsibilities of orthopedic technologists toward patients. The course is suitable for those candidates who have to achieve competence in dealing with the condition involving the musculoskeletal system and proficient in surgical and nonsurgical treatment, musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors and congenital disorder, joint replacement, spine surgery, minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy surgery. The study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and skill to understand the orthopedic practices and orthopedic surgery.The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects in the academic discipline of, Anatomy and Physiology Technology, Biomechanics, Mechanics, Mathematics, Technical Drawing, General Health Education, General Mechanical Skills, Pathology, Mechanical Operations, Functional Anatomy, Clinical Practices.

Eligibility

The candidates should have to complete Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Education or an Equivalent Examination, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks those candidates are eligible for pursuing this program.

Course Duration & Learning Mode

The medical study requires 2 years of the time period with an internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional Diploma / Certificate course. The course is not available for part-time and under distance education mode as it's a practical based study.
