The faculty of Education in Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya was established in the year 2006.

The Institute aims at imparting Integral Education in its program of higher studies that ensures absorption of knowledge, accumulation of wisdom and an appreciation of the experience of ancient ideals of great sages of india. Knowledge and skills are imparted here in an atmosphere of tenderness and intense love. In the scheme of Integral education of the Institute, it endeavors to combine through its awareness program and thoughtfully designed curricular and co-curricular program, academic excellence with duty and devotion; erudition through purity and meditation, healthfulness through yoga and service, social and national awareness through field and project work and sense of unity and world brotherhood through acquaintance with seekers of Truth from all parts of the world.

The main objective of the Teacher Education Program, apart from the academic excellence is the development of character, right attitudes and values, besides being proficient in professional skills. Teacher Education Program aims at blossoming of human excellence, which is the recognized goal of each individual’s life. It is necessary that teachers under training are thoroughly exposed to values so as to understand the higher purpose of education. It aims at the balanced development of the body, mind and spirit, with the underlying inspiration that Education is for life and not for a mere living.

B.Ed. course will educate and train human resources to enable them to acquire knowledge and develop competencies and skills to impart education and training effectively to all children
