Department of Pharmacology
Department of Pharmacology is basically involved in pre clinical evaluation of candidate molecule of both natural and synthetic origin in cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and neurological research. Facilities include a well-established animal house and well-equipped laboratories to accomplish the objectives of the course offered. The department is actively conducting research in screening new chemical entities and herbal drugs for their possible therapeutic activities which can be exploited in developing a clinically useful drug molecule.
