Master of Philosophy (MPhil Social Work)

M.Phil Social Work - Master of Philosophy in Social Work is a social work course. Social work refers to various services designed to aid and increase the welfare of the poor, aged and needy. The course is the first of its kind in Indian higher education system. Social Work profession is structured to promote social changes, enhance social functioning and enrich meaning in human relations through empowerment, liberation, inquiry and problem solving. The profession believes in the dignity and worth of every individual for his or her fullest realization of capacities and adjustment with society.
