Ph.D Social Work - Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work is a social work course. Social work refers to various services designed to aid and increase the welfare of the poor, aged and needy. The course is the first of its kind in Indian higher education system. The duration of the course is one year and the maximum one to complete the course is four years. It comprises of six compulsory courses including practicum. This programme is offered only in English. However, a student can appear for examination in Hindi as well. This Course enables one to become a Social worker who can help people belonging to various tribes and resolve the issues that affect them.
