Master of Arts (MA Anthropology)

M.A Anthropology- The MA in Anthropology focuses on providing incoming students with the training and conceptual skills necessary to pursue careers in cultural anthropology, archaeology, cultural resource management, social policy, teaching, community engagement, and geographic information systems (GIS).Students benefit from a relationship with well-regarded faculty members who are not only active leaders in their fields, but impassioned teachers and mentors. The program emphasizes professionalization and research experience by offering students unique opportunities to conduct ethnographic fieldwork and/or actively participate in archaeological excavation, mapping, and analysis.
