Course Details:

Diploma in Garment Manufacturing and Merchandising - There are courses to develop the students' understanding of all aspects of apparel design such as pattern making, draping, sewing, construction of fabrics, knitting and knitwear design, marketing, merchandising and garment manufacturing technology. Students learn design, production and management. In their second year students undertake fashion projects from the initial stage to the finished garment. Merchandising work with large fashion houses and retail departments in several areas of clothing including ready-to-wear, high fashion, costume design, and functional wear. Several graduates set up their own design and production units and have their own line of clothing or accessories.
