Eligiblity:

20 students (including the reserved seats as per Govt. rule) Bachelors with either Physiology, Clinical nutrition and dietetics, Food and nutrition or any other branch of food sciences from a recognized university or a deemed university or a reputed institution equivalent to a university or deemed university.

Course Details:

Diploma in Dietetics - The course Diploma in Dietetics in designed to train the students in diet therapy, clinical nutrition, patient counseling with catering management for effective dietetic practice and patient care. After an intensive course work of one year the students undergo 6 months internship in the hospitals to gain practical experience.The programme is very comprehensive dealing in subjects such as therapeutic nutrition, public health nutrition and institutional food administration. Job opportunities for the students include openings in hospitals, nursing homes, beauty and slimming industry, health, sports and fitness centers.
