B.Tech PGD Food Management - B.Tech PGD Food Management is a trans-disciplinary course which encompasses diverse fields such as food science, nutrition, microbiology, chemistry and engineering to impart knowledge about the various methods of food processing and preservation. It also aims to develop the competency of the learner in the field of food quality and sensory evaluation as well as food safety and regulation. Other important aspects are the role of nutraceuticals, food quality management and food packaging technology. An interface with food industry would provide the students hands-on experience of working in food industry as well as research institutions and quality control laboratories.
