B.Tech Production & Industrial Engineering program is aimed at providing specialized knowledge and skills to the students aspiring to enter the industrial sector. Industrial and Production Engineering is emerging as a specialized branch of Mechanical Engineering with an objective of enabling engineers to improve efficiency and effectiveness of both manufacturing and service sector industries. B.Tech Production & Industrial Engineering program constitutes topics such as Operations Management, Production and Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Measurements & Metrology, Occupational Health and Safety etc.The program is supported by state-of-the-art facilities in the form of laboratories and experienced faculty to impart training to the students. The objective of this undergraduate program is to prepare world class and competent quality professionals with value based technical knowledge, for taking leading positions in industry and academia. The program enables the students to become prepared and equipped to face the challenges that arise once they enter the manufacturing and production sectors in the industries.
