B.Sc. (Medical Lab Technology) - Stands for Bachelor of Science in Medical Lab Technology. Typically, a B.Sc. (Medical Lab Technology) is a three-year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with science. Medical Lab Technology is associated with performing chemical, immunologic, microscopic and bacteriological diagnostic analysis on body fluids such as blood, urine, sputum and stool. Subjects studied under this degree are hematology, immunology, clinical pathology, blood banking technology, molecular pathology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology. Bachelor of Science Medical Laboratory Technology is a three undergraduate medical lab technologist academic course in India.It is also called as clinical laboratory science in an allied health profession which is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases through the use of clinical laboratory tests. The Laboratory Technology program is designed to empower the candidates by developing knowledge of laboratory instruments, mechanical ability and the use of computer application, conduct research, finish the task with accuracy, be hard work and able to handle stress and interpreting technical skills. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Hospital Management study in subjects Like Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Environmental Science & Health, Microbiology, Ethics, Database Management, Research & Biostatistics, Computer Application.

Eligibility

The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Education or an Equivalent Examination, for Science stream and additional subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, minimum 50% marks are eligible for pursuing this program.

The Bachelor of Science Medical Laboratory Technology, the study requires 3 years of the time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional Medical Laboratory Technology course. The program is available for part-time and under distance education mode, but it's a practical based study.
