B.E Electronics Engineering - This is a special degree program that combines two disciplines that have significant synergies. Electronics engineering is designed to develop the core engineering skills of students so that they would fulfil the requisite professional requirements of their chosen engineering fields. At the same time, the electronics engineering will equip a student with the necessary business skills and knowledge in the areas of organizational behaviour, finance and accounting, marketing, economics, and business law, among others, in order to be successful in the business world. Electronics engineering provides a broad education in electrical and electronic engineering in the first two years, sharing a similar structure to the B. E. (Hons.) Electronic Engineering degree, but with specialist courses in power electronics in the second year. In the final year, students study core courses in the areas of power engineering and power electronics and produce a major individual project in electronic engineering.
