Bachelor of Food Technology (Hons) - The Bachelor of Food Technology will provide you with seamless entry into a career in food science and technology. As a food scientist or food technologist you will study the physical, microbiological and chemical makeup of food. Depending on your area of specialisation, you will develop ways to process, preserve, package or store food, according to industry and government specifications and regulations.This program prepares you for employment in technical and scientific food manufacturing industries and does not cover the domestic cooking, catering or hospitality fields.
