B.A Honours Fashion Retail Management - Retail is one of the largest industries worldwide. Currently, in India, the retail industry has been recording stupendous growth over the past few years. India boasts of the largest network of retail outlets in the world. Although a major proportion of this industry is unorganised still, trends are fast changing. More and more retailers prefer the organised system of work and thus professional management is becoming the need of the hour. Retailers look for professionals with conceptual understanding of retailing and practical skills to analyse, interpret and solve the contemporary problems and issues of business management. The course imparts knowledge of product and retail markets, retailing processes and systems, national and global perspectives of retailing, consumer behaviour and information technology application.
