Government Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya P.G College is situated in Chattisgarh State.Government Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya P.G College was started and now in a good condition also.Government Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya P.G College have the hostel facilities and all other infrastructures.Government Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya P.G College provide Bachelor degree courses and diploma courses. Government Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya P.G College is pioneerone. Government Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya P.G College provides good faculties and also provides good infrastructural facilities also.

This college was established by "Bagbahara Siksha Samiti" at Mahasamund in the year 1965. On Sep 11, 1981, this college was taken over by the Government. New phase of development of this college started after the take over by the government. At present, graduation in Arts, Science and Commerce as well as post graduation in Hindi, English, political science, history, economics, sociology, commerce, chemistry, botany and mathematics are also taught in this college. This is leading and recognized research center in Mahasamund District.

Besides these courses, DCA/PGDCA courses are also run through self financing scheme. Visualizing the importance of computer literacy, computer education is available to every students.

For overall personality development of students, the institution regularly conducts sports, activities of NCC and NSS of Girls and boys unit, youth red-cross and cultural activities. Huge auditorium, playground, computer lab, girls hostel and library building are also available in this college.
