Located in Established in 1989, Government Mahamaya College is affiliated with the University Grants Commission and has been accredited grade ‘B’ by NACC. It began functioning in the building of a Govt. Higher Secondary School and was shifted to its own building in 1996. It is presently situated 3 Km. away from Ratanpur on the Chapora-Belgehna route., The Institution is situated in the Holy Land of Ratanpur finds name after the Goddess ‘Mahamaya’. Idyllically set in 10 Acres pollution free expanse of green, the institution offers an approximate mix of academics, co-curricular activities, and sports, providing excellence in every field and preparing able citizens for tomorrow., The institution began its journey with courses offered only in humanities but now, it has also taken Science and Commerce streams within its fold.
