Under the academic and research development programme, the institute of LIBRARY SCIENCES was established on JULY 1,2002 in the main residential campus of C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur to impart and promote the multi and interdisciplinary higher education in library sciences by utilizing the modern concepts of teaching and research at master and doctorate level. The Institute is established with a view to impart higher education in the field of library sciences.
Since its inception, the Institute has been actively involved in imparting education at higher level and has produced a number of good and successful students.
