Established in 1974, Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, has grown into a leading Institution having its own distinct identity in the educational and cultural field of the City Beautiful and is being managed by the strenuous efforts of the College staff and management. Initially the College imparted education in DHMS Course Diploma in Homoeopathic System of Medicine & Surgery up to the year 1995.

Homoeopathic Medical College, Chandigarh, was established in 1974 by the Homoeopathic Medical College Association Regd, Chandigarh, keeping in view the growing medical needs of the country and the utility of this System amongst the people, especially belonging to the poorer sections. Since this wonderful system was going in the hands of the quacks, it was considered necessary to have well-qualified Homoeopaths to safeguard the interests of this Science.
