The Department of Business Administration at Awadesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa (MP) occupies a place of prominence in the realm of professional management education. It was established in the year 1988 and first batch of MBA students was started in January 1989. This department was recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi in the year 1993. Presently, the department is offering MBA, BBA and PhD Programmes in Management and is a study centre for PGDMM Programme under distance mode.

=> To learn about different types of business organizations the difficulties involved in running the business. The aspects of law, finance, taxation, marketing, risk, evaluation. Etc.

The department has a specialized library of its own with more than 14000 books. It is continuously adding latest books to provide better facilities to the students. More than 30 Magzines and Journals and all leading National and Business daily News Papers are subscribed in the departmental library. A comprehensive kit on syllabus is provided to each student from the departmental library. Apart from this, the university is having a well stocked Central Library with inflibnet facility.
The department has already installed 63 Intel/ Dual Core 2 computers with TFT Monitors in Management Laboratory and is in the process of further strengthening the same for providing better computer facilities. The department’s campus is having Wi-fi internet facility. The students are encouraged to acquire operational working knowledge of computer and its application in managerial decision making. Apart from this the students also have the access to the Computer Centre of the University to further strengthen and deepen their knowledge.
The University has Boys and Girls hostel in the campus. Students of the department who desire hostel accommodation shall apply to the Warden of the respective hostel in the prescribed form. Hostel accommodation is not guaranteed as the number of seats in each hostel is limited.
The University is having its Auditorium and Cultural Centre to ensure the active participation of the students in the co-curricular and cultural activities. Dean Student Welfare is the patron of all such activities which are pivotal in the over all development of the students.
Sports & Health
The University has a Sports Stadium, Health Centre, Gymnasium Hall and Yoga Hall for providing sporting and healthy environment to the students. The University is having its own primary health centre to respond with first-aid to any emergencies and causalities in the campus. The department is having an activity hall which is well equipped with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carom Board and Chess.
