Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) was established in the year 2001 at Seetharampuram, Narsapur, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh by The Vasista Educational Society pioneered by Technocrats with varied Industrial and Consultancy Experience.

The Institute imparts training for Under Graduate engineering courses namely 1.Computer Science and Engineering
2. Electronics and Communication Engineering 3. Electrical and Electronics Engineering 4. Information Tchnology 5. Mechanical Engineering and Post Grauate Courses such as 1.Master of Computer Aplications 2. Master of Bussiess Adminstration 3.Master of Tchnology in VLSI Design and 4.Master of Tchnology in Computer Science & Engineering. All the cources are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi (Statutory body of Government of India) and Department of Technical Education (DTE), Hyderabad, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Four UG Courses Namely CSE, ECE, EEE and IT are Accredited by National Board of Accreditation, AICTE NewDelhi for 3 Years from 19.07.2008 to 18.07.2011

The campus is located on NH-214A from Narsapur Town. The Institute has fully developed infrastructural facilities with a built up area of 20,715 sq.meters consisting of 35 modern spacious class rooms, 30 well equiped Laboraories,Drawing Halls, Computer Center, Canteen, Central Library alog with Digital Library. All departments are functional with qualified teaching faculty as per AICTE norms.
