Akshaya Bharathi Institute of Technology (ABIT), Kadapa was established in 2008. It was established to serve the region by being a corner stone of afford ate quality technical education imported with care, concern and total commitment to the rural community of the region. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is the pioneer of value based education. College is managed by Shareefuddin Educational Society, which was established in the year 2008 with a lofty aim and immense passion for contributing to the society, by imparting quality technical and non technical education. The vision of the college is to become an excellent engineering college providing world class engineers, who can handle the ever changing technology effectively. The mission of the college is to provide state of the art infrastructure facilities and Programme essential for offering world class technical education, Training, Consultancy, Research & Development activities & to provide facilities for curricular and co-curricular activities necessary for development of overall personality of our students.
