  • Conference on “Environmental Pollution” concluded

    The two-day National Conference on “Environmental Pollution: Consequences and Control” organised by The IIS University in collaboration with Indian Association for Air Pollution Control and sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research concluded on Saturday. The first technical session of last day of the conference was based on “Water Pollution: Control and Technologies”. Dr. Urmila Bhrighu from MNIT, Jaipur and Dr. T.K.Joshi, Director, Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi were the invited speakers.

  • Dandiya Raas Evening held at IMS Noida

    Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida organised a grand Dandiya Raas Evening at their campus located in Sector 62, Noida. The theme of the program was "Dance for the Nation". The unique attraction of the program was the participation of the unprivileged children from nearby villages of Haraula, Nithari, Hoshiarpur who were invited to attend the event. DID Super Moms fame Mrs Preeti Khetan was also present at the event. She also enthralled the audience with her dance on the beats of popular Bollywood music and won the hearts of all.

  • The IISU Theatrical Society’s annual play ‘Paan Khayenge’ to be staged today

    The IIS University’s Theatrical Society presents an annual play ‘Paan Khayenge’, which will be showcased at Kshipra Path situated India International School auditorium on Wednesday. Fifty-seven students of the university have taken part in the play. The play is the outcome of 35 days of hard work, dedication and devotion of all the members of the Dramatics Workshop conducted by the Theatrical Society of the university. Model, Bollywood Actor & Singer, Sudhanshu Pandey will be the Chief Guest on the occasion.

    Students of Interior Design Department of IMS Design Innovative Academy (IMS DIA) have taken inspiration module from a popular bollywood song ‘Aao sikhau tumhe ande ka funda, ye nahi pyare koi mamuli banda’ as the theme and created a restaurant ‘ANDE KA FUNDA’ in their premises recently. The interior of this restaurant has been designed keeping in mind the food served, which creates an amazing and realistic ambience.

    Students from Fashion Design Department of IMS DIA, Sakshi Sharma, Nikhil Singh and Shreyansh Jaiswal has achieved a milestone by becoming the finalists at “India Design Contest (IDC) 2016” held at Kochi, Kerala recently. It is one of its kind contests that provide unique platform for identifying and nurturing the designers in talented aspirants of Indian origin across the country.

    Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Noida organised a two-day international conference on Information and Communication Technologies. The theme of the conference, held on the campus located in Sector 62, was emerging information and communication technologies for improving people’s standard of living. The guests for the first day of the international conference were Deputy Director Nasscom, Anirban Mandal, Wipro Global marketing head Ankush Minocha, Vice president of Dassault systems Chandan Chowdhary and deputy general manager SAIL Pritam Shah.
