Dandiya Raas Evening held at IMS Noida
Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida organised a grand Dandiya Raas Evening at their campus located in Sector 62, Noida. The theme of the program was "Dance for the Nation". The unique attraction of the program was the participation of the unprivileged children from nearby villages of Haraula, Nithari, Hoshiarpur who were invited to attend the event. DID Super Moms fame Mrs Preeti Khetan was also present at the event. She also enthralled the audience with her dance on the beats of popular Bollywood music and won the hearts of all.
This colourful evening of dance, music and entertainment began with the lighting of the lamp by Dr. Kalpana Sinha, Head of Student Welfare Department at IMS Noida. While addressing the students, Dr. Kalpana talked about the noble objective of the program which was to unite the students in national interest through dance. She also addressed the important issues like overcoming the social evils prevailing in the society; spreading peace and brotherhood and significance of social and cultural festivals in our life.
Along with the students of IMS Noida, students from IMS DIA as well as the underprivileged children from nearby villages had a gala time during this wonderful cultural evening.
