Netaji Subhas ashram mahavidyalaya Founded in 1985 is UGC registered College [under 2f & 12 B]. A group of dedicated men,led by sri ashoke Ghosh, a great petriot and dedicated monk disciple of Netaji Subhas Chandra Basu, The great revolutionary of the world,took the initiative in establishing this institution and named it after our national hero N.S.Bose, The Netaji Subhas Ashram Mahavidyalaya,Suisa,Purulia is a novel Institution of the district in the field of Higher Education.It starten functioning with temporay affiliation from the University of Burdwan up to B.A (pass) standard in 1985. Alarge member of inhabitants of this region inspired by the fire of the love toe duction doneted thier parts of harf earming to the organisere of this college sometimes in the form of kind .Initially, the college had not its own building,with kind permission from its authorities the Ashram building was utilized for the purpose.However, after a short span of time, the college authorities had built upon its own building with the help of Rs, two Lakhs from the District plan Fund of Zilla Parishad,Purulia.Now, it is a full-fledged degree college,having a permanent affiliation to the University of Burdwan for imparting teaching for the degree pass course and honours course., Netaji Subhas Ashram Mahavidyalaya Suisa, Purulia , an education Institute with the mission, occupies a unique position in higher education of the state. It offers a range of degrees at under graduate level. The institute is the first to introduce chhou dance and mask making as add- on course sponsored by UGC. Aim of our institution which strives distinctly dynamic and socially and socially responsible is to manifest perfection in the student.
