Kingston Polytechnic College, Barasat was established by Kingston Educational Institute in 2004. It was started with a purpose as a self-financing polytechnic institute. Moreover, this institute prepares future generation with the help of experienced teaching faculty. This institute also teaches its students to satisfy the needs of society.

Kingston Polytechnic College was started as a self financing polytechnic entity offering diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science & Technology and Automobile Engineering in 2004.
