Chinsurah College Of Education was founded in 2010 and is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education NCTE approved by and affiliated to University of Burdwan. The mission of the College of Education is to provide quality learning experiences to develop the holistic personality of the teacher-trainees.
The institute is situated in the western side of Chinsurah Railway St. i.e. in the main line of Howrah - Bandel, Howrah -Bardhaman, Howrah - Katwa. The Institute is just on the Chinsurah st. Road at Jagannathbati Stoppage. It is well connected by bus, autorikshaw & trekker from Chinsurah St. It is one Km. away from Chinsurah St. & Sugandhyamore Connecting Delhi Rd.
Chinsurah College of Education is Governed by Vidya Vikas Educational Trust, registered under W.B. Trust registration rules. The register office of the Trust is situated at Karuna Sawan Appartment, Bandel, Hooghly, Pin-712123. The Institute has an aim to strive to emarge at thew centre of excellence in the field of Teachers' Training Programme especially in the emerging areas and the provide accademic support and guidence in Teachers' Education all across the state of West Bengal.
