The Jewellery Design & Technology Institute at NOIDA has been conceptualized by Silver Smith India Ltd. & World Gold Council as a model Institute to bring about an essential change in the jewellery industry as it exists in our country today. Craftsmanship of Gold Jewellery is an ancient Indian tradition passed on through generations. The Kaarigar inherits techniques and skills from his forefathers, which he perfects to give Indian Jewellery a uniqueness of its own. However, these manufacturing techniques need to be enhanced with a profound knowledge of new technology and contemporary design skills. The Jewellery Design & Technology Institute aims to impart a high level of education and training to its students, thereby enhancing the product quality of Indian Jewellery and expanding its reach in the domestic as well as international markets. We firmly believe that if you can't make jewellery, you can't design jewellery. All ideas require an appropriate means for their realisation.
