PG Diploma / Certification Courses

Post Graduate Diploma in Management Executive (PGDM Entrepreneurship)

The program offers aspiring students the opportunity to graduate with their own start-up. and become enterprising leaders. The course allows the students to DO rather than teach Entrepreneurship through direct experience whether real or simulated.

The first year is committed to generating business ideas and developing a plan alongside building a mobile app / minimum viable product. The second year offers the opportunity to launch a business, raise money and build it up. The students practice the concepts through a Campus Company in a risk free environment of the campus. The Conceptual frameworks lend meaning to these experiences, converting them into reusable knowledge and skills for the participants. The program consists of a core curriculum, a summer internship (compulsory start-up training between first and second year) and elective courses (optional courses in the second year).

The curriculum of PGDM is delivered by entrepreneurs, start-up specialists and entrepreneurial academician in an experiential workshop mode. Each participant gets mentored by an expert and is encouraged to create a high performance company.

Selection Procedure
The selection to the programme is purely based on the Personal Interview conducted by the Corporate Advisory Board in Campus. The students will be given weightage on the basis of their achievements on academic level and work experience if any.

Post Graduate Diploma Management (PGDM)

The Post-Graduation Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two – year full-time program approved by AICTE (All India council of Technical Education), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. It also approved by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to MBA. The program offers twin specialisation i.e. fundamental and knockout specialisation. The program aims to train the students to become excellent managers and high‐level decision‐makers with broad strategic vision. The course enjoys a two‐tier structure. The first year is committed to developing business fundamentals through fundamental specialisation and the second year offers the knockout specialisation. The program consists of a core curriculum, a summer internship (compulsory industry training between first and second year) and elective courses (optional courses in the second year). The core curriculum of PGDM develops essential skills and knowledge in the areas of Marketing, Finance, HR and IT. After successfully completing the first year requirements, the students undertake summer training of up to eight weeks at managerial level. Students analyse and offer solutions to specific managerial problems under the guidance of a faculty member as well as a manager in the host company. The second-year students structure their studies to suit their aptitude and interest. They can choose one specialisation from area-specific course and one from area agnostic course.

Selection Process

Applicants seeking admission are required to have valid CAT / MAT score for the current session with minimum percentile criteria. Please refer to www.imsnoida.in/ selection criteria tab to check eligibility. On being eligible, the applicant will be called for a Group Discussion(GD), Personal Interview (PI)round followed by a screening round conducted by IIM Alumni. Selection process would be based on Test scores, Academic scores till date, performance at the GD+PI+ Screening round.

Master of Business Administration (MBA International Business)

Masters in International Business, a postgraduate degree affiliated from CCS University Meerut designed to develop the capabilities and resources of managers in the global economy. It is ideal for those seeking to establish or accelerate a career in international business. Emphasising the practical application of specialised knowledge, the program equips management with skills tailored to the international business environment.

The program focuses on strategic planning for international operations and provides an in-depth understanding of the organisational capabilities required for international operations, including specialised functions such as international marketing, finance and human resource management.

Masters of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three-year degree course affiliated to Mahmaya Technical University, Noida and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The programme prepares students to work in the dynamic and rapidly expanding field of information Technology. The Course focuses on developing students as best software professionals. The MCA curriculum has been specially designed to incorporate essential hardware concepts along with a focus on software development. The Lecture Halls at School of Management are well furnished and air conditioned. They are scientifically and ergonomically designed to ensure that each student has sufficient space, and each faculty member has the facilities necessary to deliver to future managers and technocrats a focused arena to develop their personalities. In addition, each Lecture Hall is equipped with latest specialized teaching aids such as Projectors, LCDs & sound systems. These Lecture Halls, therefore, make classroom teaching and learning an enjoyable and fruitful experience for the students as well as faculty members. Display boards have been put up in all the lecture halls, which serve as platforms for encouraging creativity and increasing awareness among the students.
Seminars, workshops, guest lectures, talk sessions and like are a regular and integral part of the course curriculum at School of Management . For this, SOM have a seminar hall enough to accommodate a large number of students, spacious and well equipped with all audio-visual aids including Projectors, LCD and sound systems, to enable interactive sessions of teaching, which adds confidence and enthusiasm among our students. This seminar hall is also used for student meets, guest lectures and screening of films on weekends.
