The PIET, located in the National Capital Region is established in the year 2009 by Panchwati Education and Social Welfare Trust under the Self Financing Scheme of Govt. of India. PIET has an intensive academic environment that brings out the best in the students. It lays claim to the finest faculty in the region, offers the best laboratory infrastructure. It also has the well stocked library with over 5,000 volumes and subscribes to a number of journals.

The PIET has been chosen 6 Kms from the Meerut city on Delhi-Haridwar bypass to provide a healthy learning environment to the students. The institute also enjoys its close proximity to Ghaziabad, Noida and Delhi which facilitates frequent industrial visits to the students.
