The Department of Information Technology at the Tripura University has been started with the objective of promoting research and development, industrial consultancy, and teaching in the frontier areas of Information Technology. The Department offers a unique combination of courses and project that helps the students to cope with the recent advancements in the computer industry and information technology. The Department currently offers Doctor in Philosophy (Ph.D), Masters in Computer Application (MCA) programmes and Bachelors in Computer Application (BCA).
