The Raja Mahendra college of Engineering was founded in 2001 by Raja Mahendra Educational Society with the sole intention of starting educational institutions for providing high standards of technical education to the students of to-day going to be backbone of India. Particularly of Indian Industry.Ragging in Educational Institution is prohibited as per the Act of Andhra Pradesh Prohibition Act,1997. RMCK is taking various measures to eradicate ragging menace in the campus and its surroudings. Every year a Ragging awareness program is conducted by Police Department Officials to council the students about ragging and adverse legal effects. If any student or parent wish to bring to the notice of the college authorities about any act of ragging involving students of this college are hereby requested to inform to the college management. Action will be taken immediately. The details will be kept confidential.

Raja Mahedra college of Engineering is sponosored by Raja Mahendra Educational Society, registered under Societies Act. The College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and is approved by AICTE and Government of Andhra Pradesh vide their Raja Mahendra College of Engineering & Technology has been structured to take head on the changing trends of technology. The idea of setting up the college emerged when no other college could cater to the needs of a student in his/her endeavor to acquire wholesome education. The very strength of Raja Mahendra lies in its principles of providing the right learning environment for the student who does not have to compromise throughout the learning process of becoming global citizen.
