Located in Padmasri Dr. B.V Raju Institute Of Technology (BVRIT) is an Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh, established in 1997 providing Technical Education. It is located at Vishnupur, Narsapur, Medak (Dist), Andhra Pradesh, India. BVRIT is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) and also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is one of the many Educational Institutes of Sri Vishnu Educational Society. BVRIT has been ranked among top 25 of all 550 Engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh.[citation needed] The Chairman of Sri Vishnu Educational Society is Sri K. V. Vishnu Raju., Padmabhushan Dr. BV Raju is the Founder Chairman of Dr. BV Raju Foundation and Dr. BV Raju Institute of Technology. Dr. BV Raju set up a series of colleges under the Dr. BV Raju Foundation and Sri Vishnu Educational Society. Two campuses have been established, one at Narasapur in Medak (Dist) in 1997, where an Engineering College has been set up under the name of Dr. BV Raju Institute of Technology, and the other campus at Bhimavaram town which includes, Smt. B Seetha Polytechnic College, Shri Vishnu College Of Pharmacy, Padmabhushan Dr. B.V Raju Institute Of Computer Education, Sri Vishnu Engineering College For Women, Vishnu Dental College and Vishnu Public School. There is also a proposal to establish a Medical College., Students after crossing meadows and woods of Narsapur, enters into a technological world, i.e., B.V.Raju Institute of Technology, where they can learn the emerging trends in the technology., B.V.R.I.T. “Believe in the best” ---- it is the dream child of our former chairman Dr.B.V.Raju, located in a huge area. His vision is to acquire anything you require knowledge. So he established many educational institutions. It is a mixture of technology and scenic beauty that resembles the ashrams of past educational institutions., B.V.R.I.T. is one of the best among the J.N.T.U affiliated colleges, because of collective effort of college management and staff. Though it is a little bit far away from the city of Hyderabad, distance doesn’t matter with good transportation facilities. Students are interested to join in this college, because of its educational facilities, dedicated faculty members and its immense infrastructure .By campus selections many students every year are being selected in the top most companies like Micro soft, Infosys, satyam etc., College has a very good library to know the changing scenarios in the technological world with number of journals and volumes of books. The campus is also providing the hostel facility for the non local students. Management took lot of care to appoint well educated faculty members. Management also conducting different seminars by calling eminent personalities and professors from different professions and universities., So that students will have more exposure with new developments. Not only for academics but also for sports and extra circular activities, college is paying lot of attention and providing the students with all equipments. And students also proved their talents in inter college competitions and other competitions.
