A philanthropic organisation by name Syed Hashim Memorial Foundation has sponsored an educational society, which creates facilities for professional courses to the intelligent poors of the society. The college is functioning at pregnapur Village, Gajwel mandal, Siddipet division of Medak dist., from the academic year 1998-1999 by name "SYED HASHIM COLLEGE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY" with an intake of 180 students in four disciplines of Engg, managed by SYED HASHIM EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY. The college is granted permission by Govt. of A.P and approved by AICTE and is affiliated to JNTU.
