Sri G.Pulla Reddy is an eminent business man of great integrity and impeccable reputation. His business of vending sweets of surpassing taste and purity has earned him celebrity status all over the state of Andhra Pradesh. Though poorly educated by modern standards he has become an educationist par excellence by starting number of educational institutions of varied hue in his native district of Kurnool and in Hyderabad. He is the Chairman of G.Pulla Reddy Charities Trust and under his benign and pragmatic guidance the G.Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (for women) has recorded phenomenal growth in a short span. The vital role played by the women in the society and the increased awareness and empowerment of women has motivated the Charities Trust to start an engineering college exclusively for women, on 15th December 1997., Mission of the Institute:, GNITS,signifies a conscious and committed effort to leverage 'education' as a means of 'empowerment' of women.
