The priyadarshini polytechnic college was started in the year of 1996 with an aim impart technical education to the students in and around vaniyambadi ,Tamil Nadu. The polytechnic was founded by the Jai Bharath Charitable Trust, Vaniyambadi.
The polytechnic is located on the Vaniyambadi ,Thirupattur State highway near chettiyappanur village about 1km from vaniyambadi Town . Vaniyambadi is an industrial Town in the vellore District full of tanneries and others allied leather industries . The polytechnic main building and laboratory are on a hillock surrounded by green vegitation. The atmosphere which is free from air pollution & noice pollution is very conducive for to sound technical education.
