MS.No.499 dated 22.09.2004. The college has been affiliated to Periyar University, Salem vide letter No.PU/R/3070/B3/2004 dated 29.10.2004., The college came into existence during the Academic year2005-2006 offering 9 Under-Graduate and 4 Post-Graduate Courses. The college is functioning with wide infrastructure at Manivizhundhan south on the salem-Cuddalore NH 68 Main Road near Thalaivasal.
