Shakti Teacher Training Institute, Madurai was established in the year 2009,
Shakti Teacher Training Institute has been established by our beloved chairman of Saravana Educational Trust, Mr.P.Ashokkumar MA.,M.Ed.,B.GL., during the year 2009.
Our Institution is run by Saravana Educational Trust. It is situated in an area of 6.77 acres at Paravai,Madurai. It is functioning in our own multistoried building. It is Non-minority self financing Institution.

To provide Teacher Education for rural as well as semi urban students.

We admit and prepare our students for the two year diploma course DTEd. The eligibility for admission to this course is a pass in Higher secondary Education having Tamil as first language and the minimum marks being 45%. We provide both theoretical Education and practical training.
Our trust provides training in our own middle school when ever it is needed We arrange for 48 days of intensive practice at more than 50 schools in Madurai district for the convenience of our trainees. Our faculties keep an eye on all trainees during Teaching practice to guide them properly. We arrange for group discussion, debate, seminars and demonstrations to ease our students from shyness and hesitations.
